meaningful support.

At Scaffold, our care services go beyond traditional therapy. We bring together therapists, educational consultants, and family support specialists who collaborate to identify what’s really driving the challenges—whether it’s skill gaps, executive functioning needs, environmental stressors, or unmet learning differences.

We provide comprehensive educational services designed to support the whole child and the systems around them. We work alongside families, schools, and multidisciplinary providers to identify root causes, reduce barriers to learning, and create sustainable paths toward success.

We don’t just treat symptoms. We treat what we see, and what’s underneath it.

therapeutic consultation + direct care.

Our therapeutic multidisciplinary team centers ourselves in the belief that in order to engage an individual young person, there must be intentional consideration of the various systems of support and caregivers in their world. Our support looks holistically across young people's developmental domains and utilizes reflective practice to meet them where they are and adjust treatment models accordingly.

Many families who come to us with one of the following scenarios:

  • A family has been signaled by a pediatrician, teacher, or other specialist to explore options of support. The family generally has limited information and is looking to better understand the support or where to start.

  • A family has completed a series of formalized evaluations and/or assessments and received recommendations of support to help build their child’s skill set. While all valuable information, the family feels overwhelmed with where to start and how to build an intentional plan.

  • A family has a significant amount of information and has tried many interventions and still feels stuck. The complexity of their young person’s presentation leads to inconsistency in treatment progress and they feel like they are constantly searching for the ‘right’ support.

We support families with:

  • Understanding young people’s presentation from a root cause perspective versus treating the behaviors in the simplest form

  • Building awareness around nervous systems, stress responses, and regulation (both co-regulation and self-regulation).

  • Clarifying what skills that are age appropriate weakness versus an actual area of vulnerability. Adjusting and supporting expectations and demands to better meet this skill mindset.

  • Creating environmental shifts in helping families understand how home and school environments could create more success for the young person in developing and generalizing their skills.

  • Addressing the different roles that come into the caregiving experience; (1) own childhood experiences that inform your parenting, (2) your role as an individual adult, outside your role as a parent, and (3) your role in conjunction with your partner and how that informs your co-parenting experience. A primary component may be working with a single caregiver and the uniqueness of that parenting experience.

educational.

Our educational services include educational consulting and advocacy, school partnerships, and individualized tutoring, all grounded in collaboration, data, and deep respect for each learner’s unique profile.

What sets Scaffold apart is our multidisciplinary, wraparound model. Educational services do not exist in isolation, we collaborate closely with occupational therapists, speech pathologists, clinicians, tutors, and parent focused practitioners to ensure consistency and impact.

Educational Consulting + Advocacy

Our Educational Consulting & Advocacy services support families navigating both public and independent school systems, helping them make informed decisions and access appropriate support for their child.

We work with families whose children attend:

  • Public Schools

  • Independent and private schools

  • Alternative and therapeutic programs

At scaffold, we take a whole-child approach, considering learning profiles, regulation, communication, mental health, and environment to develop practical, individualized recommendations.

We support families with:

  • Understanding learning differences and academic challenges

  • School selection and placement decisions across public and independent settings

  • IEPs, 504 Plans, and Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)

  • Preparing for and attending school meetings

  • Clarifying accommodations, supports, and implementation

  • Navigating school transitions and re-entries

  • Addressing ongoing concerns or breakdowns in communication

Our advocacy approach is collaborative and relationship-centered. We work respectfully within each school’s structure while ensuring students receive meaningful, appropriate supports, regardless of school type.

Families are never expected to navigate this alone. We translate educational language into clear action steps and walk alongside you throughout the process.

School Partnerships

Scaffold partners with schools, both public and independent, to strengthen systems, build staff capacity, and support students with diverse learning needs.

Our school partnership services may include:

  • Consultation for complex student cases

  • Collaboration with school teams, administrators, and support staff

  • Support for inclusive practices and differentiated instruction

  • Parent-school communication support

  • Professional development and systems-level guidance

By working collaboratively with schools, we help align academic, behavioral, and therapeutic supports, reducing fragmentation and improving outcomes for students and educators alike.

Tutoring + Academic Support

Our tutoring services go beyond homework help. We provide individualized academic support for students with complex learning profiles.

Tutoring services may support:

  • Foundational skill development (literacy, numeracy, writing)

  • Executive functioning (organization, planning, task initiation)

  • Study skills and academic confidence Tutoring is often integrated into a broader support plan, ensuring alignment with school goals and therapeutic interventions.
